đź–•The Promise vs. Realityđź–•

Have you seen the Carvana commercials? They promise a hassle-free and delightful car-buying experience. However, in my experience, they don't value their customers or their time.

đź–•A Journey of Disappointmentđź–•

I was initially drawn in by the prospect of using their unique car vending machine after being pre-approved for their "easy financing." But this was the start of an unexpectedly challenging journey to complete a transaction that eventually led me to another dealership. I bought the Hyundai Kona Ultimate I desired there in less than a day.

đź–•Financial Confusion and Mismanagementđź–•

I had selected a 2019 Hyundai Kona Ultimate and had pre-approval from Carvana for its financing. My employment payment structure was a bit unconventional: I managed two locations in the cannabis industry, each having distinct partners and consequently, both places contributed to my salary. This fact was easy to verify with my paystubs and bank statements - documents I provided to Carvana and which another dealership confirmed in an hour. Yet, despite explaining my situation to multiple Carvana managers and even presenting a letter from my CEO clarifying my employment situation, I faced challenges.

đź–•Unfulfilled Promises and Frustrationđź–•

Every interaction with Carvana's agents suggested they were more inclined to cancel the order than to resolve the issue. When I did connect with a manager who seemed understanding, I was promised a resolution by Monday, but the subsequent delay and the manager's unexpected vacation were the last straws for me.

đź–•A Better Experience Elsewheređź–•

I approached a traditional dealership and found a 2020 Kona Ultimate with fewer miles and a better price. I shared the same documents I'd given Carvana, and within an hour, I was approved. In just 4 hours from my first call, I drove away in my new car.

CARVANA REALLY SUCKS!!!
